Daniel Montesinos Capacete

I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Granada in 2023 and completed the master's program in Physics of Complex Systems at the University of Balearic Islands in 2024. My primary interests revolve around machine learning and quantum technologies and their potential applications in various fields, including time series forecasting and classification tasks.

My PhD thesis centers around studying complex quantum systems for potential machine learning applications. Specifically, our focus is on implementing neuromorphic networks using photonic quantum systems as the hardware. In particular, the idea is to study and develop quantum hardware implementations for Quantum Reservoir Computing (QRC) and Quantum Associative Memories (QAM), contribute to developing the theoretical framework for these new research fields, and establish any possible quantum advantage compared to traditional implementations.
